They are opportunistic feeders, consuming algae, detritus, and small invertebrates, making them valuable for tank maintenance. Maintain stable salinity (1.023–1.025), temperature (24–26°C), and pH (8.1–8.3) for optimal health. Their nocturnal behavior means they are most active during low-light periods. Exercise caution with small fish, shrimp, and delicate corals, as they may predate or disturb them.
