Description
Polkadot cardinalfish are striking nocturnal reef dwellers prized for their distinctive white spots against deep red coloring. These small, peaceful fish thrive in established marine aquariums with moderate lighting and plenty of hiding spaces among rockwork. They reach 3-7cm and prefer cooler water temperatures between 22-24°C, making them ideal for deeper reef setups or species-specific tanks. Feed small meaty foods such as mysis shrimp and copepods. Best kept singly or in pairs, they're compatible with non-aggressive tank mates and contribute minimal bioload. A rewarding choice for experienced marine hobbyists seeking subtle beauty and natural behavior.
