Description
Pseudancistrus genisetiger is a striking small pleco prized by aquarists for its distinctive spotted pattern and peaceful temperament. This 5-6cm specimen is ideal for established freshwater tanks with moderate to strong water flow and plenty of driftwood for grazing and shelter.
Hardy and low-maintenance, it feeds primarily on algae wafers, vegetables, and biofilm. Prefers slightly acidic to neutral water (pH 6.0–7.0) with good oxygenation. Best kept singly or in groups with adequate space and hiding spots. A rewarding addition for hobbyists seeking an active, visually interesting bottom-dweller that thrives in well-maintained community setups.
