Description
The Green Dragon Ancistrus Pleco is a striking small catfish prized for its vibrant green coloration and distinctive tentacle-like odontodes on the head. At 4cm, this juvenile specimen is ideal for established aquariums of 20 gallons or larger.
A peaceful bottom-dweller, the Green Dragon Ancistrus grazes on algae wafers, driftwood, and biofilm, making it an excellent addition to community tanks. It prefers slightly acidic to neutral water (pH 6.0–7.0) with moderate flow and plenty of hiding spots among caves and wood.
Hardy and low-maintenance, this pleco thrives in temperatures between 22–26°C and produces minimal bioload. Perfect for aquarists seeking an active, visually appealing algae-eater with personality.
