Description
Otocinclus zebra is a small, peaceful algae-eating catfish ideal for planted and community aquariums. These 2-3cm juveniles feature distinctive dark stripes and active foraging behaviour. Hardy and undemanding, they thrive in soft, slightly acidic water with gentle flow and plenty of hiding spots among plants and driftwood. Feed supplementary algae wafers and blanched vegetables alongside natural biofilm. Best kept in groups of 3 or more for optimal social behaviour. Perfect for nano tanks and established aquascapes seeking natural algae control.
