Moonlight gourami are peaceful, elegant fish prized for their shimmering silver-blue coloration that catches light beautifully in planted tanks. These 4-5cm juveniles are hardy and adaptable, making them ideal for intermediate aquarists. They thrive in warm, well-planted environments with gentle water flow and prefer live or frozen foods. Moonlight gouramis are social and do well in small groups or community setups with non-aggressive tankmates. Provide plenty of vegetation for security and natural behavior. Water temperature should be maintained between 24-28°C for optimal health and color development.
