Description

Marbled angelfish are striking freshwater aquarium fish prized for their distinctive black and white patterned bodies. These peaceful cichlids thrive in planted tanks with plenty of vertical space and hiding spots among driftwood and vegetation. At 4-5cm, juveniles will grow to 15cm and develop their characteristic diamond shape and flowing fins. Ideal water conditions include temperatures of 24-28°C, neutral to slightly acidic pH, and moderate current. They're compatible with community setups featuring similarly-sized peaceful fish and larger invertebrates. Feed a varied diet of quality flake food, micro pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp. Marbled angelfish are hardy and relatively easy to care for, making them excellent for intermediate aquarists. Provide at least 60 litres per pair and maintain good water quality through regular partial water changes. Their elegant appearance and calm demeanor make them a captivating centerpiece for any planted aquarium.
