Description
Dwarf lionfish are striking additions to established aquariums, prized for their distinctive fan-like pectoral fins and bold coloration. This 6-7cm specimen is an ideal size for acclimation and growth in a mature setup. These carnivorous fish require live or frozen foods and appreciate hiding spaces among rockwork. They're generally peaceful with larger tank mates but will consume smaller fish. Dwarf lionfish thrive in stable water conditions with moderate flow and benefit from dimmer lighting to reduce stress. A minimum 75-liter tank is recommended. Handle with care—their spines deliver a venomous sting, though not dangerous to humans with proper precautions.
