These 1-3cm specimens are ideal for established saltwater aquariums with stable parameters and moderate water flow. Known for their scavenging behavior, they help maintain tank cleanliness by consuming detritus and uneaten food. Hardy and relatively peaceful, camel shrimp thrive in reef-safe environments with adequate hiding spaces among rockwork. Best kept singly or in pairs to minimize territorial disputes. Requires mature systems with consistent salinity, temperature between 24-26°C, and quality filtration for optimal health and longevity.
