Half-moons are known for their aggressive territorial behavior and vibrant coloration, making them ideal for experienced keepers with properly sized tanks. Each fish is unique in pattern and intensity.
Requires a minimum 5-gallon tank with stable water conditions (76–82°F, pH 6.5–7.5). Provide hiding spots, gentle filtration, and regular water changes. Males must be housed individually.
Copper coloration can intensify with quality diet and optimal water parameters. Feed premium betta pellets or frozen foods daily.
