Why Dual Stage?
Dual Stage regulator help to reduce the pressure in the CO2 cylinder. This will help the following:
Solenoid valves are unable to function properly with the high pressure in the Co2 bottles.
Without Dual Stage, Co2 output will be unstable and may cause irregulator Co2 output amount.
You will be able to use high quality diffuser
Fine, uncoloured sandy soil: substrate for fresh and saltwater aquariums and aqua-terrariums.

PRODUCT INFORMATION Ideal substrate:
The substrate is an important part of the aquarium components because a lot of animals dig in the ground to search for food.
The plants also need a safe hold and have to absorb the food in the ground through their roots.
Digging fish absolutely need a substrate which is not sharp-edged.
Undergravel heating can only be recommended for medium-fine to coarse substrates because water circulation cannot really build up in very fine substrates.
Use:
Rinse the substrate with tap water to remove any abrasion caused in transit. Put substrate on the nutrient substrate (JBL AquaBasis) to promote the plant growth (for vigorous growth about 6-8 cm).
Calculation formula.
The right amount of substrate: length (cm) x width (cm) : 140 = kg substrate with 5 cm thickness.
FAQAre the substrates of the Sansibar range plastic-coated soils ?> No, the substrates of the Sansibar range are not plastic-coated but pure natural products.Should JBL Sansibar be washed before use inside the aquarium ?> JBL Sansibar comes pre-cleaned. To wash out any abrasion caused in transit, we recommend rinsing JBL Sansibar before use in the aquarium. Please avoid unsettling the soil when filling in the water.On JBL Sansibar dark / grey we noticed a magnetic component. What is this?> JBL Sansibar black is a natural product which has small fluctuations in its mineral composition depending on its source. The "magnetic component", which can be traced to iron cores, occurs in isolated cases, but does not have any harmful effects on the operation of the aquarium.

Nature at Home – Home for Fish and Plants:
Fish need to be as comfortable in the aquarium as they are in nature.
For the water change, aquarium setup and to strengthen the fish after disease. Relocation causes stress.
The transport and insertion into an aquarium is highly stressful for fish.
With JBL’s Acclimatisation Protection you can reduce the stress for the fish and ease their adaptation to the environment.
Advantages of the JBL Acclimatisation Protection:
Reduces stress, increases their resistance against disease, reduces fish loss, protects the mucous membranes, gills, skin and fins thanks to aloe vera, strengthens the immune system and activates their resistance with vitamin C complex, prevents iodine deficiency symptoms by means of its iodine complex.
Recommendation for acclimatisation:
Switch off aquarium lighting, attach the opened transport bag with a clip, add aquarium water in portions into the bag every 1/4 hour.
Put a dosage of JBL Acclimol into the aquarium before inserting the fish, use a net to move the fish from the bag into the aquarium, let the fish swim out of the net on their own.
Pour the transport water down the drain and not into the aquarium.
Switch on the aquarium lighting one hour later.
FAQ
How often can you redose?
> The product contains many organic components which need to be broken down and absorbed. Therefore an additional dosing is only useful after 7-10 days. Otherwise we recommend you apply the product directly to the affected areas after a disease treatment or after adding new fish stock.
Can JBL Clynol, JBL Acclimol and JBL pH-Minus be used in a shrimp tank ?
> Basically, all 3 of the water conditioners mentioned can be used in a shrimp tank.However, when JBL pH-Minus is used, it’s important that it is only used in relation to the carbonate hardness. It is best to add JBL pH-Minus to the water intended for the water change and to then measure the carbonate hardness, which should not be less than 3-4. JBL Acclimol is suitable for shrimps, but is better suited for fish. JBL Clynol is beneficial for shrimps but you also need to add JBL Biotopol C, a water conditioner especially developed for shrimps.

AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE
While healthy plant mass is the #1 natural defence against algae, life is often unpredictable.The filter or CO2 diffuser gets clogged. Grandpa overfeeds the fish. The auto-timer takes an unannounced holiday.These shocks ( seemingly insignificant to us) weaken plants and give algae a window of opportunity to spawn.
APT Fix works to rebalance the system by targeting the fundamental weakness of algae- their comparatively less developed protective cell walls. When spot-dosed per the recommended dosage, it instantly arrests algae growth while allowing plants to recover.
This is the most effective approach, but be careful not to let the plants dry out. Avoid this method for treating algae on Mosses, Liverworts (Riccardia and Riccia etc.) and Vallisneria (Tape Grass).
This is our usual approach. To increase effectiveness, pause the filter before spot-dosing. And don't forget to turn the filter back on! The effect should be visible by the next day.
NO COPPER
Most algae treatments use compounds that contain Copper, which is a powerful biocide.
The problem is that copper, like other heavy metals, accumulate over time and do long term damage to the tank's ecosystem.
APT Fix uses an active compound that biodegrades naturally within 24hours, with no nasty residues.
DOMINANT PLANT MASS
The best natural defence against algae is a healthy dominant plant mass. Tanks with alot of exposed, un-planted areas are far more susceptible to algae, in the same way that fertile open fields invite weeds to grow.
Aim to have at least 70% of the substrate planted. Plants are like trees in a forest. With the right conditions, they naturally outcompete algae.
TOP ALGAE MAGNET
The top algae trigger is organic waste and decaying matter. Never over-stock a tank in its early months. Livestock waste contributes significantly to algae issues in new tanks (< 3 months old).
Regularly change water the 2Hr Way and remove old/ decaying leaves. Stem plants require replanting of the healthy tops after trimming once or twice. Old deteriorating stems invite algae to bloom.
The above shows the result of a single dose of APT Fix via spot-dose method. By Day 2, the inactive BBA would usually change color to red and/or white. These would either decompose, or serve as food for algae-eaters and other microorganisms. By Day 7, the leaf is now mostly free of algae.
